By downloading, installing, or using the Wake Up Right application ("the App"), or by accessing this website and submitting your email address, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App or this website.
These Terms apply to all users of the App and website, including visitors, registered beta testers, and paying customers.
2. About Wake Up Right
Wake Up Right is an Android alarm application developed and published as an independent project. The App is available in two tiers:
- Free — available at no cost, supported by non-intrusive banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
- Pro — available as a separate one-time purchase of £4.99 on the Google Play Store, with no subscription or recurring fee.
3. Email Sign-Up & Launch Notifications
By submitting your email address via the notification sign-up form on this website, you agree to the following:
- You consent to receiving one or more emails from Wake Up Right relating to the app's launch, beta access, and product updates.
- Your email address will be stored securely and will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
- You may unsubscribe at any time by following the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us at support@wake-up-right.co.uk.
- Beta tester opt-in is subject to availability. Signing up does not guarantee a beta spot. If beta slots are full at the time of submission, you will be added to the launch notification list instead.

4. Intellectual Property
All content associated with Wake Up Right — including but not limited to the application code, design, graphics, logos, icons, screenshots, marketing copy, and website content — is the exclusive intellectual property of Wake Up Right and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the App or website without prior written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Use any Wake Up Right branding, name, logo, or assets in any manner that could cause confusion or imply endorsement without written consent.
- Create derivative works based on the App or its content.
Press and media representatives may use brand assets for editorial coverage of Wake Up Right in accordance with the guidelines on our Press page.
5. App Licence
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes on Android devices you own or control.
This licence does not include the right to sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit the App or any content within it.
6. Google Play Store
The App is distributed via the Google Play Store. Your use of the Google Play Store is governed by Google's Terms of Service. Any purchases made through Google Play — including the Pro upgrade — are subject to Google Play's payment and refund policies.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Wake Up Right only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not use the App or website to:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its supporting infrastructure.
- Introduce malware, viruses, or any other harmful code.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Wake Up Right is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs. In particular, alarm functionality depends on device settings, manufacturer battery optimisations, and Android version. We strongly recommend testing the App on your device before relying on it for critical wake times.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Wake Up Right and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to missed alarms, loss of data, or loss of earnings.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any).
10. Third-Party Services
The App and website may interact with third-party services including Google AdMob (advertising), YouTube (user-embedded videos), and Google Play (distribution and payment). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, for which we are not responsible.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App or website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
